create products and processes that are insensitive to the inevitable scattering of manufacturing, environmental, operating and usage conditions. This leads to reliable results, which internally guarantee highest efficiency and productivity and thus generate a high level of customer satisfaction.
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is currently the most important structured procedure in product development that complies with the current DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard and leads to robust products.
For successful product development, however, the sole focus on quality and robustness is no longer sufficient, because the demand for innovation has never been greater than it is today. For this reason, I follow the approach of integrating TRIZ innovation methods (TRIZ: Theory of inventive problem solving) into the product development process. TRIZ is a collection of systematic creativity and innovation methods that are applied and appreciated in the highest development circles worldwide. It is regarded as the industry standard for innovation methodologies (see VDI 4521).
The integration of current TRIZ methods increases the creative problem solving and innovative power in development projects.
